1. Test director has "Test plan" tab where you can create/
export manual as well as automated test case. for automated
test case you can create step doc attached with script.
It has wonderful Folder & test tree structure.
2. all automated test cases you can configure in "Test Lab"
tab with the help of "Select test". here you can arrange
the test execution flow as per application work flow.
3. In "test Lab" only you can execute the testcases by
selecting Host name for execution.

For executing Automated Scrips stored in Test
Director/Quality Center, you would first require the
Quality Center add-in installed with QTP. After that move
to quality center File->Quality Center Connection in QTP
and enter the information required for authentication. Move
to Quality Center and run the Automated Scripts.
