evrybody says to be truthful during the full ssb period .
when asked to give one`s negative qualities should we be
truthful here too ?

as far as i know one must not give negative qualities which
are intrinsic to ones behaviour and cannot be changed
ex-impulsiveness , short temper , introvert etc .
something which could be executed upon and changed must be
answered .
But you must be cunning enough to improvise and not let your
actual qualities speak for themselves .
its the only point where i suppose one could lie during the
ssb but remember that the officers at the ssb are very
competent to get ur real qualities .

Yes, we must be truthfull, but same time keep some points
in mind :
(a) Firstly speak only for the specific thing which
asked, don't speak more then asked for.
(b) Present your negtive qualities in such a way that
you are working to improve them.

But there is still a catch .
u said "..i lack somewhere "...
the problem instills in the first place !
the interviewer will ask u where do you lack ?
ultimately u would come up with some negative trait or
behaviour
that is why this question alone hounds me ! ! !

Yes we should be truthful.We must disclose the negative
qualities when asked because it is not that we go to the SSB
only for getting selected but remember after all we are
going to serve the country.

Be truthful cant get u select , u should be smart enough to
hide Ur negative points. If u got any , then it is natural
becoz nobody is perfect. U should not give negative
qualities which do shows Ur mental behavior like introvert ,
short temper , very emotional, etc. the negative qualities
should be temporary and which can be recovered easily like
poor Gk , poor English , etc.
Remember u should be truthful in an untruthful way.

hmm....negative qualities...can be of many types...
be truthful bt smart....
lik i overeat sometimes whn at home, specially whn it is cooked by my mother...
i listen to loud music with ear phones while travelling in bus or train etc.....

for qyualifying the ssb intervies it , is true that one
must be surely honest and be as it is . and the same thing
also follows , when asken about the negative qualities ,
but one must do this in such a way that no much harm in
that case occurs , means try ur -ve qualties as like ur
practicing qualities over which u r working.

no its true to be truthful throughout our ssb , i think one can be selected only then,as it increases our chances of getting selected ,because it is not that much easy to hide our real qualities for 5 days . i thnk it so because it we r thruthful to ourself then we need not to be extra cunning to hide ourself.but when they are asking us to tell about our negative points we can tell them some minor neg qualities because it is the case for almost all and they are trained enough to find out what we are so try to be truthful to urself and to them also.
