Please give the answer to this question?
I have Phisical file with 100 records,there is no any
duplicate records in this pf.Based on this pf one Logical
file i have used.But this lf is viewing only 80 records
only of that pf?What is the reason for this?Please give me
answer?

If there is any selection criteria in LF then it may be
displaying accordingly. If there is no "Select" or "Omit"
it should display 100 records. Have a look at LF once again.

I will agree with Sreedhar, adding one more possibility of this scenario as may be object of PF is existing in tow libraries A and B but the object of Logical is existing only in B library and the PF exist in Library B may have only 80 records. But It is true if Library list order is A and B

there may be a reason that there exist a blank space in 81 position, which is used by a record and even after the record deletion, if the rgzpfm is not done then after reading 80 records, 81 will be treated as eof; though v have records in later 82 etc

Out of the hundred records of physical file, only 80 are
present in the member with same name as physical file name and
other 20 in another..

If we use the file level keywords like LIFO, FIFO, FCFO in a file, can we see the impact of it by doing the run query of the file? if not how can we see the impact of these keywords.
