Conformed dimensions mean the exact same thing with every
possible fact table to which they are joined.
Dimension tables are not conformed if the attributes are
labeled differently or contain different values.
Date Dimension is a confirmed dimension though thay have
different formats (Please correct me if I am wrong)

If a Dimension is shared by all the star schema within the
DWH area, called Confirmed Dimension..
Ex: Suppose Comp_EMP_Master_dim is shared by all the Star
Schema/Fact Table.
here Comp_EMP_Master_dim will called Dimension Table
If a Dimension is shared by some the Star Schema in the DWH,
that is called shared Dimension.

A confirmed Dimension table is joined with more than one
fact table in dataware house as same name.
The date dimension is created by a stored procedure. we
insert data into a table at an atomic level. To insert date
value into a date column the valid state is DD-MM-YY.
For different contries say YYMMDD for italy and MM-DD-YYYY
for france. These are only representation of date format.
