Hi,
I just have a question regarding my PhD admission with North
Dakota State University without assistantship. I have
already completed my Masters from NDSU and was working in
the US for a couple of years, I however returned to India
last year. I was in touch with my guide concerning pursuing
my PhD at NDSU. I have now been offered admission at NDSU
for the PhD program for Fall 2010, and I have also finalized
my research area (extension of Master's research area),
however I have not been given an official assistantship /
aid letter from my department. My department is however
saying that I will be definitely offered assistantship if I
land up at NDSU in Fall.
My concern is now about the Visa interview in which I will
have to show personal liquid funds for 5 years of doctoral
study. Can you please suggest a way by which I wont be asked
to show 5 years of funding..since I have unofficially got
the assurance of aid/tuition waiver.
Please let me know.

i have applied for university of tennessee. my ielts score is 7.0 bands, toefl 77 and gre 810. i have quite a number of backlogs ie 15. what should i say if they ask me about my backlogs. this is for the third time am applying. Hello all, I have been approved for Ph.D with full funding and I have a minor with me.So, should I file his application for F2 (that is dependent Visa) with my F1 application or fill it later once I got approved for F1 and then go with drop box option? I need your advise on this. your response is highly appreciated.

Hi guys I had applied for US student visa and i had stayed in uk for 4 years and 10 months. I came back from uk on 27th november and had applied for US F-1 visa for july intake, so my question is I got 3 diff. degrees in mgt. and IT so what I will answer in interview if interviewer will ask me for my london education. Hi..i have done B.E in E.C and then worked as QA eng for 9 month.I have no work ex for 8 month as i was preparing for gmat and toefl also planning for further study.I am now going for MBA from Rutgers uni,camden.What i shd say if they asked me why i am not working since last 8 months?My Gmat score is 530/800 and toefl ibt score is 84.What r my chances of getting visa?

Dear , thanks for helping me out with all the informations provided in this website. i got rejected for f1 visa twice in this month (dec) in Hyderabad vo said ur not elgible for student visa vat i have to do now (i got less scores gre 810 btech 55% and having 10 backlogs but for the gre i got letter from ets mentioning that there is problem with the validation of my exam thats why they are offering me to re test for the free of cost) i want to apply for the next time in Chennai vat will u suggest me thank u
what was the reason for your rejecting last time?
I had rejection three times first 0n 20th march and 3rd and26th of august, my intake will start on 27th of sep can i apply again in sep month? What can I do ?
