The basic exemption for TDS on salary is that your salary
should not exceed Rs. 13333/- per month or Rs. 160000/- per
year.

The basic exemtions for tds on salary is
Exemtion Limit is 160000/-pa in 2010-11 &
180000/-pa in this year 2011-12.
Exemtion for Male 180000/-pa
Exemtion for Female 190000/-pa
Exemtion for SC (above 60) 250000/-pa
Exemtion for Veary SC (above 80) 500000/-pa

The basic exemption on TDS on salary is Rs.200000/- for male and female.
For senior citizens it is Rs.250000/- and for super senior citizens it is Rs.500000/-.
