A PST file is a personal folder file in Microsoft Outlook.
In Outlook, the storage limit for a single user's .PST file
is 2 GB. PST stands for personal storage.

PST is file supported only by Microsoft Outlook use to
store recieved/sent mails from the Exchange Server or POP3
in the local Machine of the User .This PST file can be used
as a Default Mailbox for send/recieve or can be used to
manage the mailbox quota.The only difference between the
Mailbox from exchange server and Outlook PST file is
availability of the location as the default location of PST
file is the user profile-C:\Documents and Settings\,user
Profile>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Personal Folders.pst and it is
suggested to limit the PST size by 2GB but it supports more
than it.

PST: Microsoft Outlook stores items in a personal-storage-
table (.pst) or off-line-storage-table (.ost) files that
are located on the local computer. Most commonly, the .pst
files are used to store archived items and the .ost files
to maintain off-line availability of the items.
ANSI format can support up to 2 GB limit. In Outlook 2003
and 2007, .pst files are created in the Unicode format and
have a default maximum size of 20 GB. Outlook 2010's
default maximum size has increased to 50GB.

this is the formate of mails get stored in ms out look,
when user logged from his profile they can save mail
messages in this formate and when ever they required
restore it.

how will we identify that those mail unwanted mails(MS Outlook)are.which are not important.
