Discount is the difference between MRP and amount paid by
the customer that amount is for whole customer and anybody
can avail this facility.
Concession is the difference between MRP and amount paid by
the close customer. Concession is for close customer only
i.e.- Suppose A Shirt which MRP is Rs.1000/- I go to shop
and I got discount of 20%. then i will got that shirt for
Rs.800 only. again suppose that shopkeeper is my fast
friend then as friendly relation he will allow me extra 5%
as concession.

If you purchase any product below the listed price, then it is called Discount,that below price will be for each and every customer, either he purchase in large amount or in small amount.... On the other hand if you purchase a product below the listed price on the base of personal relationship, old customer or due to purchasing in large amount, then it is called Concession..

while concession is only for specific person you want, and
also not related with the future value, and also not
related with time and other things.

concession (ISO 9000 2005) is the rebate for product not conforming to the specified requirements.so concession is basically compromise in quality of product for which seller is giving some rebate.Discount is reduction og cost of product conforming to requirements.

Discount is usually trade discount and can be shown in books but its not necessarily as only cash discount are necessary to show in books.

As far as concession is concerned it can never be shown in books.
