Hi friends, i have got selected for Bank Of India clerical
Post. I have also written 2 PO exams for other nationalized
banks. I am Basically a Bsc graduate and completed MBA
(Distance education). Kindly suggest me is it worth for me
to join as clerk or wait for the PO results.. I am
confused. Is it possible to get PO post or any other post
by taking exams even after joining as clerk. Need ur
suggestions.

hey i received my letter....in that they hv asked to gt our
medical examination done,in some center which they hv given
and a on 19th dey hv asked to come to their HO with all the
original docs.

join as a clerk. and if u clear the po exams then u can
switch sides. it s worth to work in a nationalized bank. no
doubts. u have all the possibilities of becoming po in the
same bank after joining as clerk. after a year or two u have
the opportunity of writing promotion exam and becoming po in
the same bank. all the best.

Hi Frnds My name is Garima , i hv gt sleected in BOI
clerical cadre 2009 the results dec arnd Jan 30th . Is
there any body else also who has gt selected. Did any body
receive the offer lettr till nw.

Hi sanjeevani...iam frm mumbai wt abt u??
evn i did nt receive the call letter...i called to BOI
mumbai office....arnd 22nd feb...a lady der said dat i wud
take more 10 - 15 days....so i think the lettr must come by
march 1 or 2nd week...if u r frm Mumbai den.

Hey i am from karnataka, Please contact ur regional
office/personnel department for the health checkup and pre-
recruitment process. They have sent the mail itseems but i
didnt receive it yet, then they had called me yesterday and
asked me to visit the Regional office.

Hi Garima, I didnt get any letter, i got a call from
Personnel department and they say that they have sent me a
email regd the same, but i didnt receive it. However they
sent me again and now i got my medical test also done. And
submitted the reference letters also, now waiting for the
next process, what about u???

I'm working under Govt. of Assam with Pay Scale Rs. 5200 - Rs. 20200/- Grade Pay Rs. 2100/-,my take home salary is Rs. 11,000/- PM. I faced SBI Clerk Interview recently & also Cleared Vijaya Bank Clerk written test exam & confirm to get a bank clerk job in any one of them. But I'm confused about how much salary in Bank clerk job now when new pay package will start? Can any one tell me about new bank clerk pay package?
