I request you guys to help me I am in need.
Here is my situation:
I got denial on Jan 15-2010.
University where I applied: California international University
(small university,course was international business studies)
Sponsors: Were in USA(my sister)
Family Situation:
Father in Govt service
Mother LIC Agent
A Younger Brother(who is well settled)
According to me I got denial cause I have sponsor over there.
Now please suggest me what changes I should bring So that I
ll get VISA.
I have thought of few :
Like in DS 156 not to mention about my younger brother so
that it will be like "I am the only son & I have the
responsibility to take-care of my parents"(though I know
that they have my past records).
Secondly: This time sponsor ship will come from my side (I
ll manage that).
If you guys have another inputs then please temme ASAP.

To my surprise,my visa interview was too short and shocking. I had 1310 in gre and 109 in toefl. I completed BE in Elect and comm with 75% in 2007 and had been working in a multinational software company since then. i applied for masters in elect and comm in Lamar university with 60% fee waiver.. here goes the interview VO:( took my documents) how many universities??(raising his eyebrow) Me:2 VO: Looking at me with questioning eyes? Me: Lamar university, Texas and Cleveland State University, Ohio. VO: Why did u apply for Cleveland University? Me: This is a good university, i got good reviews about this university from online forums and communities and it was offering me right courses in computer networking along with other courses in Electrical Engineering..... VO: Interrupted... it is not a very high ranking university, how can u say its a good university? Me: Ranking of the university was not my sole criteria... VO: Interrupted... ohh!!! (sarcastically) what was your criteria? Me: I focused on the department and the courses that were being offered.. Moreover, I got good feedback.... VO: Go.. Me: ok. can u give me the reason? VO: next one come.. I don't understand what went wrong?

I am flo from france and I am currently studying in London. I have the opportunity of taking a design course over the summer at an american university so I need a visa F1. The university pays their student to study for the summer as they are doing a project in partnership with companies. Am I able to be paid by the uni with a VISA F1? I have done my bachelors in computer science and engg. Now I am again going for masters in computer science(with electives no specialization).What should i answer if VO asks me why Again ms in cs?
My interview is few days away and am applying for a us student visa. I have completed my high school in 2005 and after that did a one year course of computer till 2006 and after that was helping my parents with there business till 2007 June. I then completed my swift course in NIIT which was a four months course and in midway appeared for the TOEFL exams. Is ABSENT a Backlog... I was absent for an exam due to illness but gave it later.My marksheet showed 'ABS' instead of 'F'.Is it regarded as a backlog.
