May be IP address are Different or workgroup or domain name
or not support windows firewall you can disable firewall

i suppose you have XP operating system,
check the connectivity by pinging the system if ping ok then
check wether simple file sharing is ticked or not, if it is
tick , then untick.
second in tcp/ip properities enable file and printer
sharing.

First you have to Check Network interface Card Device

check folder is sharing or not
