I have applied to universities for spring 2010.as alraedy dec
2009 has sarted i am really worried about the visa. i have
recived admit from 1 university but that was not my priority so i
am waiting for another university to reply.but since i havent god
ny answer from them i wann to wait.so i need to noe that what the
chances that they clear me if i apply after mid december..are
there any chances that they would reject on the basis that i am
too late n all.the university is opening on 10-25 jan. please
help me to know that what are my chnaces to get a visa if i apply
fo visa in or aftre mid dec? are there ny rules that u cant apply
after or before some time. as i need to apply for F-1 visa i cant
apply without my i-20..please help me

u should call the university office and can check ur
application status

Yo man... listen here... its all ready late 4 U.. now u can
jus do one thin,that is jus call to that university which is
ur choice and asked them to send scaned copy of i20 only
that can help U out..coz definetly it will take many days to
get i20 hard copy...n one more suggestion is that.. keep
confidence and jus go ahead with that i20 which U have..
after gettin visa u can change ur university.. at that time
or in next sem i.e in fall 2010.. if u dont do this then u
need to wait for 8 more months.. i.e to enter in to fall 2010..
choice is urs ....

Hey I am willing to Aviator College for Professional Pilot training in which I will get training for commercial pilot also certified flight instructor ratings. This is an F1 visa program. I wish to do my graduate studies in one of the us universities in the field of computer science starting Fall 2010 and am waiting admission information from 1-2 univs. Two years back, I had attempted for H1-B visa which was put on hold. Subsequently since I got a good job in India, I did not pursue H1-B visa. Now I wish to continue with my studies after getting some job experience. My problem What shoudl I write in the DS-160 column asking: Whether you had applied for US visa earlier, if so what is the result. Whether I should write: applied for H1-B visa but put on hold or applied for H1-B visa, denied. Whether this will come in the way of my securing F-1 visa now? hey im from sri lanka.. last wk i had my f1 visa intrvw for fall 2009.but its rejcted under the 214-b. i dnt knw whatz the exact reason. visa officer ws a lady. and 1st she askd 4 my acedemic levels, then abt my college. and finalay abt my sponsor...whn i gave her the answer abt sponsor she rejected me. actualy my 2 uncles badly want me to study very well. they are sponsering me and my parents and i have my own money also, college need only 50000$ for entire degree and i have more than that. can anybody pls tell me what to do. i wish to apply again
