The length of the base of a triangle is three times the
height. The area of the triangle is 24 square inches.
Find the length of the base of the triangle. (Area=1/2bh)

given length of base(b)=3* height(h)
given area =24 sq inches
therefore h =b/3
area =1/2 bh
1/2b*b/3=24sq inches
b*b=24*6
b*b=144
b=12.
