company?questions was asked in interveiw?

PANDU u r right.
1. Once bug is found the status given to the bug is"new".
2. When that bug is logged or reported then the status
given to the bug is "open".
3. Then that bug is assigned to the Review Team. If they
found that what ever is given to them is a bug. They fix
that bug immidiatly , the status given to that bug
is "resolved".
And if they don't fix that bug at that time means they
leave that bug for sometime, then the status given to that
bug is "deferred".
And if they think that whatever is given to them is not a
bug then the status given to that bug is "rejected".
4. If that bug is of "resolved" status, that resolved bug
is re opened by the tester to check that bug is fixed or
not.If the bug is fixed then we(tester) "close" that cycle
and if the bug is not fixed properly then we (tester) again
assign that bug to Review Team.
If Review Team members forget to fix the bug which is
in "deferred" status, then it is closed automaticly.
We (tester) can reopen auto closed "deferred" bug as well
as "rejected" bug and check it out and if we found there is
a bug and it need to be fix then we again assign it to
Review Team Members.
The happy path of this bug tracking is:
New -> Open -> Resolved -> closed.
THIS IS ALL ABOUT THE BUG TRACKING.
If any one find it is wrong then please tell me. My e-mail
