During a given week A programer spends 1/4 of his time
preparing flow chart, 3/8 of his time coding and the rest of
the time in debugging the programs. If he works 48 hours
during the week , how many hours did he spend debugging the
program.

He is spending 1/4 hours for preparing the flow chart.
=> 12/48
Again he is spending 3/8 hours for coding.
=> 18/48
12/48 + 18/48 + x/48 = 1
(12 + 18 + x)/48 = 1
==> 30 + x = 48
x = 48 - 30 = 18
