Ans: sanity testing is nothing but before going test the
entire application we have to test whether the application
is stable(all functionalites are working properly to go for
system testing) or not. If the application is we go for
further testing otherwise we reject the build submit issues
where as regression testing each version of the build
verified and submitted defects to the development team then
we test the application with selected test cases whether
the system reflected with any modifications.

hi all I have an overall experience of 12 years working in an EDP setup(worked in a manufacturing setup in a German MNC). On my request, I was relieved from my duties in Sep 06 for maternity reasons. However I would like to pursue a career in a software organization as a manual tester. I obtained my proficiency certificate in Software Testing from STAG SOFTWARE LIMITED 2 months ago i.e in May and would now like to continue working in this field. However I am unable to find a job until now. If anybody knows of a opening at bangalore, kindly let me know.

Hello. I am not here to answer your question. I jus found a job as software QA engr. And i am totally new to software testing. So can someone pls help me in the following scenario? there is this registration screen, and it contain: One textbox called Nickname which only accept alphanumerical One textbox called Contact which only accept numerical, One textbox called Email which can be filled with alphanumerical and symbol and One button called Register now becos there is so many textboxes, where i can filled with alphabet, number, symbol, "just space", leading zeros, leading space. there will be lots of combination. can someone pls help.. i will be appreciated if u can post the test case of the scenario i mentioned.
