memory used by a certain process?

yes we can know the amount of kernel memory usage..
in Xp , goto task manager , click on performance, u'l get to
see the graph which shows the performance n usage .then
below the graph the u'l see kernel, system,physical
memory,.. memory usage in details n realtime .
In vista, same process would let us know the memory status ,
apart from this , various gadgets availble add the gadgets
which would monitor performance n speed.
