In a class of 40 students, 24 students speak Hindi and 20
students speak Kannada. Eight students speak none of the two
languages. How many students speak both Hindi and Kannada?

8 of them wont speak both language
so remaining 32 students.
both language = (english + kanada) - remaining
= (24 _ 20) - 32
= 12
so the answer is 12
