Fundamental analysis is the practice of studying the
fundamentals of a company to determine if a business is a
good investment. Fundamental analysis can answer questions
such as "what are the chances this business is going to go
bankrupt" and "how certain can I be that this stock will
continue paying dividends?" It involves studying financial
statements such as the balance sheet.
