when QTP fails to identify the objects in the application,
we use low level recording, in other words we can say it is
used for non-supportive technologies

QTP script is not working on other's machine..
In order to select an automation tool for automating ur application, what r the things u need to consider? For eg i will go for automation; 1) When there is a lot of retesting and regression testing. 2) Return on investments. 3) Whether the tool supports the appln. 4)--------------, etc. Pls give me more number of points because my answer did not satisfy the interviewer. Hi, I am working on microsoft infopath forms..It is standalone form..(not dotnet or web.) . I am not able to indentify any objects in it.. I am currently using active accessibility in the macro for the same but its execution is too slow.. Kindly help in case you have better solution.
