starter is mainly used to limit the starting current ,which
is very much greater i.e 4 to 5 times at the time of
starting.we have to limit this.otherwise it may damage the
other equipments also.for that we are using starter ..
it limits the current by adding resistance in the circuit.
various types of starters available.
2 point,3 point,4 point types are widely used.....
