3 persons started placementpapers with a capital of
Rs.3000 . B invest Rs.600 less than A, C invest Rs.300 less
than B. Then what is the share amount of B in a profit of
Rs.886 ?
Answer Posted / vijay gawalkar
Given, A+B+C= 3000,
B=A-600 -> A= B+600
C=B-300,
Now, A+B+C= 3000,
-> B+600+B+B-300=3000
-> 3B+300=2700,
-> B=900,
After substituting B,A=1500, C=600
Profit sharing ratio of A,B and C is 1500:900:300.
886 X 900
Share of profit of B = ------------ = 265.80
3000
