is it always necessary to do white box testing before doing
black box testing.wat ar applications where only white box
is done not black box testing,and application where only
black box is benifical not white box testing

For the first part of the question yes intially white box
testing is done by the developers without any test cases(ad-
hoc testing).It is neccessary bcoz developers while in
developing know wat are the possible areas that bugs
arises.so it is important to do WBT in order to reduce bug
severity.
