I have a doubt in writing a test case...
if suppose in a round if they ask to write a test case for
any situation such as(Search engine)... in the testcase do
we need to fill up the actual result and status Column in
the test case??(please answer i am confused)

don't fill actual result and status columns,because it'll
be written only after executing test case.if the question
is write a test case,then don't fill that columns

If you are handling a product testing and if there are around 100 test cases and in them few test cases are failed then at the end of the day how will you treat whether the product is pass/fail.? consider the failed test cases are in functional requirements.
