The ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) curve is a graphical plot that illustrates the performance of a binary classifier system as its discrimination threshold is varied. It shows the tradeoff between the true positive rate (TPR, sensitivity) and the false positive rate (FPR, 1-specificity) for different classification thresholds.
