Classify the animals based on the germ layers in their embryonic development?
Answer Posted / Jitendra Kumar Kushwaha
Animals can be classified into three groups based on the number and types of germ layers formed during embryonic development: Protostomes, Deuterostomes, and Acoelomates. Protostomes form two germ layers (ectoderm and endoderm) first, followed by mesoderm. Deuterostomes form three germ layers in the order of ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm. Acoelomates lack true coelom, having only an outer ectodermal layer and an inner endodermal layer.
