Open SQL is a high-level SQL dialect provided by SAP for ABAP programs. It allows developers to write SQL statements using a more intuitive syntax, hiding some database specific details. Native SQL, on the other hand, is the standard SQL used directly with the database without any abstraction layer. Open SQL can be converted into Native SQL using the OPEN SQL preprocessor.
