Explain the significance of a blind signature and how it is useful?
Answer Posted / Prateek Goyal
A blind signature is a cryptographic technique that allows someone (the signer) to validate a message without initially knowing its content. This feature ensures privacy and can be used in various scenarios, such as anonymous e-cash systems where the payer doesn't want their transaction details revealed. The recipient generates a commitment to the original message, encrypts it with the signer's public key, and sends it to them for signing. After signing, the recipient can open the message to reveal its contents while maintaining the signature's integrity.
