What is the default operating system of raspberry pi, may I use any other operating systems?

The Raspberry Pi's default operating system is Raspbian OS, a Debian-based distribution. However, you can also install and run alternative operating systems such as Ubuntu MATE, OpenELEC, Windows IoT Core, or Chromium OS.
