How is the internet of things ( iot ) network different from the wireless sensor network ( wsn)?
Answer Posted / Anup Kumar Dwivedi
While both IoT and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) involve connecting devices for data exchange, there are key differences. WSN primarily focuses on sensing physical phenomena and transmitting raw data to a central location, whereas IoT emphasizes processing and analyzing data at the edge of the network for real-time decision making. Additionally, IoT devices often have more complex capabilities than simple sensors.
