Slug refers to the area outside the bleed line in a print document, where unprintable elements such as crop marks and registration marks are placed. However, in the context of WordPress, Slug is the URL-friendly version of a post or page title, used for the URL of that post or page. InDesign does not use slugs in the same way as WordPress.
