To disable comments in WordPress, navigate to the Settings > Discussion page in your dashboard. Scroll down to the 'Default article settings' section and uncheck the box next to 'Allow people to submit comments on new posts'. Alternatively, you can choose to allow comments only from registered users or even disable comments altogether for existing posts by modifying their individual comment settings.
