What are the differences and respective advantages to
electrophoresis, SDS PAGE, and isoelectric focusing?
Answer Posted / g.rajesh kumar
Electrophoresis is a separation technique especially used
for seperation of protein molecules.
Eletrophoresis involves the use of electricity which makes

IEF separates sample compounds(proteins) according to
isoelectric point,
whereas SDS-PAGE separates the compounds by molecular weight.
