Am asked in interview that How are u going to write test
cases? I replied him that we refer to usecase diagrams and
the requirements documents to write test case. Did i replied
him anything wrong?

Hi
first u study and understanding the fdds or srs
then u will collect the list of the use cases
then u study the normal flow n dependence n entry n exit
criterias for thouse usecases
then
based on that information
u will starts the preparation of test cases

What is data flow diagram?
If you are handling a product testing and if there are around 100 test cases and in them few test cases are failed then at the end of the day how will you treat whether the product is pass/fail.? consider the failed test cases are in functional requirements.
