What are the advantages and disadvantages of linked list over array?

Advantages: Linked lists allow for dynamic size (can easily add or remove elements), no fixed size is required, and they can handle lists with repeated elements. Disadvantages: Accessing an element by index may be slower than arrays because each element is stored in a separate node.
