Whats the difference between input() and raw_input()?

Answer Posted / Saurabh Gaur

In Python 2, input() is equivalent to raw_input(). However, in Python 3, input() interprets the user's input as a string, while raw_input() keeps it as a raw bytestring. To make input() behave like raw_input(), you can use input('') or input().decode('utf-8').
