how do I know if my volume group is normal, big, or scalable?

To know if your volume group is normal, big, or scalable, you can use the vgs command. The VG_SIZE column in the output will indicate this: normal (up to 2TB), big (up to 64TB), and scalable (up to 128TB). For example, `vgs -a`.
