The main difference between a Prime Ministerial system (Parliamentary system) and a Presidential system lies in the separation of powers and how the head of government is chosen. In a Parliamentary system, the Head of Government (Prime Minister) is appointed by the Head of State (President) from the majority party or coalition in the legislature, while in a Presidential system, the President serves both as the Head of State and Head of Government. The system also differs in terms of cabinet formation, voting systems, and accountability mechanisms.
