Why does
The speed of motor used in elevator remain constant irrespective of load??
Answer Posted / adel hesham
Speed is inverse to torque and proportional to power
So if I need a fixed speed then torque and power should change proprtionaly to fulfill the required speed constant
Also using and encoder for speed feed back helps the vfd to produce the correct torque which fulfill the stored / required speed
