What is effect of power factor on change in voltage
Answer Posted / sultan
as power factor increase the real power consumed increases and the reactive power decreases so the voltage decreases. we install the capacitor to increase the voltage but due to this capacitor there is capacitive reactance which leads to increase reactive power and decrease the real power.
