What is mean concrete class c35/20. Here C35 and 20 means?
Answer Posted / ross hampton
this is a old description (in UK and europeon standard terms). C35 is the cube crushing strength and 20 is the aggregate size. Strength wise now this would be called C28/35. 28 being the cylinder crushing strength and 35 the cube. The aggregate and constituent materials that make up the concrete will be different though.

I used Etabs software to analyse a high-rise building. And I want to use templated UBC-codes inside to calculate the Seismic load. My question is: whether or not I have to control the seismic load by base shear load which is manual calculation? (just for more clarification: I can control this by input the scale factor into Eartquake definition in Etabs) I would highly appreciate your answer.
