What is an interactive report? What is the obvious differences of such report compared with classical type reports?

Interactive reporting allows the user to participate in retrieving and presenting data at each level during the session. Gives a basic list form which the user can call detailed information by positioning the cursor and entering the commands.
Classical reports consists of one program the creates a single list which contains clustered data requested, regardless of the details the user wants to see.
