Why sulpuric acid only used to ROI but not used nitric acid
and some other acids?
Answer Posted / satish kumar
Basically H2SO4 is strong acid than other acids so it can react with any inorganic impurities into organic compound then it converts into their sulphates salt ..... sulphates are more stable at high temperature while compare with any other acids like nitric acid also....
Sulphates are easily reacts with inorganic compounds to be form as salts due to its strong oxidising nature and more stable but incase of nitrates its occurs in slowly and not stable at high temperature up to 600...
