What is difference between Overall heat transfer coeficient
& individual heat transfer coefficient
Answer Posted / apurva
Overall heat transfer coefficient is the conductance for all the materials through which heat is flowing. It can be obtain by adding individual heat transfer coefficients for each material.
Just like getting electrical resistance from the circuit, heat transfer coefficient varies with the material presence of material in the series or parallel attachments.
