2 electric bulbs of 100w,200V are put in series & the
combination of each bulb is supplied to 100 V . the power
consumption of each bulb will be????????

R=V^2/P = 200^2/100 = 400 ohm
power consumed by each bulb is calculated by the same expression
P=V^2/R
but here the voltage is equally divided between two bulb which is 50 now across each
so P=50^2/400 =6.25 w
