The total population of a village is 5000. The number of
males and females increases by 10% and 15%
respectively
and consequently the population of the village becomes

Total population 5000 now 10 & 15 % of 5000 are 500& 750. Again excess population is 5600 - 5000 i.e 600.
Now simple linkup formula ie 500 - 600 & 750 - 600 soo ratio becomes 150 : 100 i.e 3:2 i.e F = 3 & M = 2
Soo 2/5 of 5000 is 2000.
Soo total men is 2000
