BIOPROCESS ENGINEERING - ANSWER 14.3 : Vo = Kcat [ES] = Kcat [E]total [S] / (Km + [S]) where [ES] = [E]total [S] / (Km + [S]). When Vmax = Kcat [E]total, Vo = Kcat [E]total [S] / (Km + [S]) = Vmax [S] /(Km + [S]) (Derived).
