A son and father goes for boating in river upstream . After
rowing for 1 mile son notices the hat of his father falling
in the river. After 5 min. he tells his father that his hat
has fallen. So they turn around and are able to pick the
hat at the point from where they began boating after 5 min.

after they travel 1mile(distance from the bank) hat fallen and son said to his father after they travel upto 5 min. in this 5 mins hat travel some distance they returned and reach the bank in 5mins means they travel 10mins at the same time hat reaches the bank so hat travels 1mile in 10 mins so hat speed is 6miles/hr is nothing byt river speed.
