What is Demat Account? what is the use of it?

A Demat account is something like a bank account, except the fact that here you store your shares instead of money. It is a store house for all the entities you buy through your trading account. Opening a demat account has become really easy these days as well. Some stock broking companies even open it within few hours. Attaching a link for your reference.
