How to calculate the amount of Brick,cement & sand required
for 1 cum of 230mm thick brick work with ratio 1:5 please
give me an answer with detailed step
Answer Posted / satinder singh
brick size= .230*.115*.75
1/.230*.115*.75 = 500
10 mm mortar consider now our brick size is .240*.125*.85
1/.240*.125*.85 =500
392 = 500
500-392= 108 bricks
now 108*0.00255 = 0.275 cu m
for mortar 1:6
cement = 1/7*0.275 = 0.0393/0.0345 = 1.13 bag
sand = 6/7*0.275 = 0.023 cu m
